Gregg Abell strives for excellence in every concept, goal, delivery and service. Gregg found his true passion for food at a early age beside his mother, cooking for large family gatherings. His career started in the hospitality industry at San Lameer 5 Star resort on the South Coast. He also assisted his sister (Janina Clinning) who now owns the top catering company (5 years running) in Namibia called the Blue Olive.

Gregg moved to Johannesburg in 2000 to study film producing. Afterwards he ran film festivals for two years, most notibly the world summit festival which was the largest film festival screened in South Africa in its time.

His success of the business pertain to the individual attention specific to the event menu planning where the themes and clour schemes are worked into both the presentation and meal choices. We also research international and local trends, bringing in aspects of organic fusion and health aspects.

Most noticed events that we have done is Miko Rwayitare funeral, Nokia Elev8 road show, Lexus showroom launch in Midrand, SA Banknote and the Day of Reconciliation celebrations for 500 top governmental officials and VIP guests.

We are very fortunate to be able to acquire the freshest qualiuty produce and supplies. And most food growers have respect and pride in their produce and so finding good quality product is relatively easy, making it a pleasure to use local and organic - free range ingredients.

5%Green strive to keep the quality of our product menus and service going forward as we expand as a company. We brought in earlier this year Adele Engelbrecht who has top level and international experience in eventing.
